Community Engagement

Southern Wesleyan University is committed to community engagement and being an active member in the community.

The Southern Wesleyan University Department of Athletics is also committed to serving the surrounding area through community service projects, sports clinics and providing volunteer services. Each team is expected to participate in one community service project each semester. The department also participates in Champions With Christ annually.

The Southern Wesleyan University Department of Athletics has also developed a Student-Athlete Advisory Committee to assist the department with community engagement initiatives. The local community is also encouraged and welcomed to utilize Southern Wesleyan facilities. The University strives to build partnerships with town and city officials, local business owners, churches and schools.
