Warriors Finish in Fifteenth in Barton Invitational

Kiawah Island, SC – Southern Wesleyan finish in fifteenth place after the both rounds of play in the Barton Invitational.


How It Happened

Claire Page led the Warriors in the invitational.  The senior scored an 82 in the first round and finished with an 81 in the second round.  Her total round score of 163 secured her in a place in a tie for 30th.  Page was followed by freshman Tatiana Tait in a tie for 64th place.  Tait shot an 89 in the first round and an 86 in the second to give her a score of 175.

Jesse Dalton finished in 67th place after hitting an 85 and 92 in the rounds for a total round score of 177.  Dalton was followed by Emily Anderson in 71st place.  Anderson shot a 92 in the first round and finished with an 89 in the second round for a 181 total round score.  Emily Floyd finished in 77th place with scores of 95 and 93 for a 188 total round score.

Southern Wesleyan will next compete in the LMU Spring Invitational on February 26-27 in Fleming Island, FL hosted by Newberry College.
