Warriors Remain in Sixth after Round Two

Snow Hill, NC – Southern Wesleyan is remains in sixth place after the second round of competition in the Conference Carolinas Championship on Monday.

How It Happened

Thomas Nielsen continued to lead the Warriors after the second round of the championship.  Nielsen shot a 73 in the first round, and a 74 in the second round to give him a 147.  His two round score puts him in a tie for seventh place.  

Three Warriors are sitting in a tie for 21st place after the first two rounds.  Eric Shea shot a 73 on his first round and an 80 in the second to give him a 153 total round.  Shea was joined in a tie for 21st by teammates Noah Mullens and Zach Huebner.  Mullens shot a 76 and 77, and Huebner shot a 74 and 79.  They were followed by Seve Anfindsen in a tie for 41st place.  Anfindsen shot an 81 and 80 on the first two rounds to give him a 161 total round score.


What's Next

Southern Wesleyan will wrap up the Conference Carolinas Championship Tournament on April 16 to conclude the 2019 season.
