How It Happened
Junior Eric Shea led the Warriors in the first two rounds of play. Shea shot a 66 in round one, and then a 72 in the second round for a 138 total round score to put him in a tie for fifth place. He was followed by Noah Mullens in a tie for 24th place. Mullens shot a 75 in the first round and then came back to shoot a 68 in the second round for a 143 total round score. Nick Howell followed Shea and Mullens. Howell shot a 76 and 68 in both rounds to give him a 144 total round score and put him in a tie for 28th.
Freshman Carter Rains was the fourth Warrior in line at the UNG Fall Invitational. Rains shot a 74 in the first round and a 73 in the second for a 147 total round score to put him in a tie for 46th place. Following Rains, sophomore Jimmy Singnoi is sitting in a tie for 54th place after the first two rounds of competition. Singnoi shot a 70 in the first round before shooting an 80 in the second round for a 150 total round score.
Southern Wesleyan will continue to compete in the North Georgia Invitational on October 1. They will then their fall season at the Miami Intercollegiate on October 21-22.
