Central, SC – Southern Wesleyan fell to the Limestone Saints on Saturday evening in a 4-1 final score.
The Warriors recorded three shots and one shot on goal in the loss to the Saints. Marshall Ball recorded the lone goal for the Warriors and Oscar Vanegas received the lone assist. Miguel Uribe played all ninety minutes in goal for Southern Wesleyan and recorded 12 saves.

How It Happened
Limestone stormed the field in the first half with shots by Tristyn de Laaf and Kristian Moore-Cowel, but the Warriors defense and Miguel Uribe kept the ball out of the net. The Saints continued to pressure the Warriors, scoring the first goal of the game after fifteen minutes of play to take a 1-0 lead. A penalty kick goal by Ruairi Croskery allowed the Saints to take a 2-0 lead at half.
Southern Wesleyan pressured Limestone in the second half. Oscar Vanegas took a corner kick and sent the ball toward the net. Marshall Ball received Vanegas' kick and put it into the net to make the score 2-1. However the Saints countered minutes later with their third goal of the game. The Saints went on to score one more goal on a penalty kick to win the game 4-1.
Southern Wesleyan will return to the soccer field on October 17 as they travel to Bristol, TN to take on the King Tornado at 1 p.m. They will then return to Childs Field on October 20 as they host senior night at 7:30 p.m.
