How It Happened

North Greenville pressured the Warriors early, but Southern Wesleyan countered with shots on goal by Zack Hargreaves, Romanov Jean and Malik Ibrahim.  The Warriors continued to pressure as Grant Kiker drove the ball around the defense and took a shot on goal.  Goalkeeper Noah Kendrick got in the way, but Kiker followed through and drove the ball into the net to give the Warriors a 1-0 lead.  North Greenville tied it up right before half with a penalty kick goal by Casey Brady.

Both teams continued to pressure each other as North Greenville's Dawson Martin and Southern Wesleyan's Malik Ibrahim each took shots on goal.  The Warriors pushed on, but shot attempts by Ibrahim and Zackery White went wide or hit the post.  North Greenville pulled ahead on a second goal by Brady.  Southern Wesleyan cut North Greenville's lead to 3-2 as Marshall Ball put in a penalty kick goal.  The Warriors continued to fight to the end with shots on goal by Cale McLarnon, Zack Hargreaves and Grant Kiker, but the Crusaders kept them away and went on to win the game 4-2.
